The Mountain Plains Library Association (MPLA) is an twelve state association of libraries, librarians and friends of libraries in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. Its primary purpose is to improve present and future library services in the Mountain Plains region through development of librarians, trustees and library employees.

MPLA bases its success on an active, enthusiastic, sharing membership. Where our people are so few and distances are so great, each librarian, staff member and library is a vital resource.

Institutional Membership - Based on Total Annual Library Budget
Less than $50,000 $70 plus 1 complimentary personal membership
$50,000 - $99,999 $100 plus 2 complimentary personal memberships
$100,000 - $499,999 $175 plus 3 complimentary personal memberships
$500,000 – $999,999 $250 plus 4 complimentary personal memberships
$1 million – $3 million $500 plus 5 complimentary personal memberships
Over $3 million  $750 plus 6 complimentary personal membership
